Thanks Greg for the inspiration and sharing. There is no coincidence that GOD spelled backwards is DOG !! Their eyes tell it all and a reminder of how lucky we are to experience such grace and gentleness from our animals. This beautiful love is the only time a human experiences pure 'unconditional' love. The animal acts on pure instinct and innate behaviors. The human mind is so filled with past 'impressions' or programming which resides in our mind's 'hard drive'. Once we realize what effect this has on our lives, we start cleaning out the 'programming' from minds and bodies. This is done by practice restraining our mental activity, controlling the coming and going of our thoughts, and maintaining undisturbed focus on one object or idea. Once we come to the place where we can realize we can purify our thoughts, let go of past traumas and detach from toxic situations, then we can Love like we were initially intended too or learn how to Love !! The animal knows this Love and that is why we can love them, without any expectation in return. Keep your heart open to give and receive Love. Blessings
